This video shows what Portland looked like in the late 1960s

Portland Maine History 1786 to Present is a pretty great local Facebook page that features a ton of cool historical photos and videos of the city.

Today it posted this video that it says is probably from the late 1960s.

There’s no sound, and it’s only 47 seconds, but it’s a pretty fascinating snapshot of the city — back when the current Reny’s building was still a Woolworth department store.
